THE ESSENTIALS PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
gCTF stands for Grenade Capture the Flag. Two teams compete to control the flags while using the grenade launcher, hook and movement to create openings. The exact match rules and score targets depend on the server and competition format.
Your main objective is to take the opposing flag and bring it home under the server’s capture rules. That requires more than individual aim: you need to keep your own flag safe, move as a team and make good decisions when someone is carrying a flag.
Watch a complete round before focusing on advanced tricks. Identify the two flag stands, common routes between them and the areas where players meet.
Join a community server, find both flag stands and follow a teammate’s route without rushing into every fight.
